B1 Aircraft Engineer Team Leader
Location: London.

The client:
Our client is a well-known technical organisation that provides workshop facilities, aircraft modification programmes, and tooling hire services.
The role:
As an Aircraft Engineer crew Leader, you’ll oversee the safety, efficiency, and smooth functioning of the line maintenance crew.
Responsibilities:
– Manage all shift activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness and timely defect resolution.
– Lead, develop, and drive a focused team to achieve peak performance.
– Encourage good communication and collaboration across departments.
– Evaluate work requests, with an emphasis on tooling, personnel, and downtime management.
– Comply with all applicable rules, including EASA and CAA standards.
– Monitor and manage budgetary difficulties, reporting any problems to the Station Manager.
– Keep correct and detailed shift logs, and follow proper handover protocols.
– Ensure that all documentation is completed and up to date, including line station status, production plan, handover diary, charge sheets, daily updates, temperature monitoring, and cleaning register.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in a similar position.
– Demonstrated leadership abilities in a line maintenance environment.
– A thorough understanding of Health and Safety legislation and practices.
– Be familiar with EASA and CAA requirements.
– Possess a UKCAA Part 66 B1 licence.
– Type rated on at least two of the following: A320 NEO, A330 NEO, A350, A380, B737 NG, B737 MAX, B777, and B787.
– Excellent organisational abilities, including the ability to manage various activities efficiently.
