What is it like to work in our team?

The CTPLD and Autism team is an excellent place to work, with a common culture, mutual support, and a strong team dynamic. We collaborate with others within the service to leverage specialist knowledge and support.

Bracknell Forest is a tiny and friendly unitary authority in Berkshire, about 28 miles west of London, near Reading, and midway between the M3 and M4 corridors. You will be assigned a caseload of people with learning impairments and autism and will be responsible for fulfilling statutory tasks on behalf of the service. The position entails assessment, assistance planning and review, direct work with people with learning disabilities and/or autism, and general case management responsibilities.

You will be given a laptop and a mobile phone to enable remote working.

You will receive the following benefits:

An inclusive and social working atmosphere with diverse worker networks.

Generous annual leave starts at 28 days and increases to 33 days after three years of service (pro rata for part-time). With an additional yearly leave buy policy.

Regular possibilities for growth through internal and external training sessions.

A comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to support health and wellbeing.

A fantastic office site near transport links and the redeveloped town centre.
