What You’ll Receive

Your Role and Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Services

  • Dispense medications safely and accurately
  • Provide expert advice to patients on treatments and medicines
  • Monitor patient outcomes and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals

NHS & Private Healthcare Services

  • Deliver NHS services such as Pharmacy First, blood pressure checks, and vaccinations
  • Expand private services including travel health and weight management clinics
  • Ensure all services are compliant and well-documented

Service Development & Community Engagement

  • Encourage uptake of pharmacy services
  • Build strong relationships within the local community
  • Lead initiatives that promote healthcare awareness

Dispensing & Accuracy

  • Perform final prescription checks
  • Ensure safe and compliant dispensing processes
  • Provide clear counselling to patients

Operations & Stock Control

  • Manage stock efficiently, including cold chain products
  • Handle recalls and expiry tracking
  • Maintain equipment and reduce wastage

Governance, Compliance & Safety

  • Follow GPhC and legal standards
  • Manage controlled drugs and ensure GDPR compliance
  • Maintain SOPs, risk assessments, and safety protocols

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, motivate, and support the pharmacy team
  • Conduct performance reviews and training
  • Build a positive, service-driven culture

Who We’re Looking For

  • Registered Pharmacist with GPhC (or equivalent EEA qualification)
  • Experience in leading or managing a pharmacy team
  • Commercial awareness with a patient-first mindset
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Willingness to complete a paid observational shift before starting
