About the Role
Skills Provision Ltd, a leading international recruitment agency, is recruiting an experienced MEP Planner for a prestigious Building Services firm based in London. Key Responsibilities
As an MEP Planner, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating projects throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Developing detailed programmes for MEP design, procurement, and construction activities
- Producing client-facing schedules and providing progress briefings to senior management
- Conducting site visits and liaising with on-site teams
- Attending meetings and training sessions
- Reviewing project progress and assessing schedule impacts due to changes
- Performing delay analysis and supporting Extension of Time (EOT) submissions
- Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
- Staying updated on relevant legislation and best practices
- Acting in alignment with the company’s objectives and standards
- Undertaking additional responsibilities as required
Candidate Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of all MEP elements and construction processes from feasibility to completion
- Experienced in planning at tender stage and contractual planning
- Skilled in project monitoring, risk management, and problem-solving across construction stages
- Proficient with IT planning tools such as Asta PowerProject or MS Project
- Strong organisational skills and methodical work approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Confident in delivering briefings and presenting technical information

- Demonstrate English language proficiency (gov.uk English language requirements)
- Undergo a Tuberculosis (TB) test if required for your country
- Maintain a clear immigration and employment history (gov.uk visa guidance)
- Eligibility for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship (gov.uk Skilled Worker visa)
- Registration or eligibility to work in the UK in line with employment law (gov.uk working in the UK)
