About the Practice Environment
The Bamber Bridge clinic — locally recognised as Withy Grove Vets — is a well-established suburban practice known for strong community ties and high clinical standards. The location offers excellent travel links to major cities and scenic countryside, making it an appealing base for both professional and personal life.
You’ll work alongside experienced vets (including a surgery certificate holder), supported by skilled nurses and a dedicated client care team. Collaboration is strengthened through close links with Medivet’s nearby 24-hour hospital network, allowing internal referrals and shared expertise for complex cases.
The clinic is equipped for advanced diagnostics and surgery, including minimally invasive procedures, imaging tools, and modern anaesthetic monitoring — and is currently undergoing refurbishment to further enhance patient care.
What the Role Involves
In this position, you will:
- Deliver high-standard clinical care across consultations and surgical procedures
- Build trust with clients through clear communication and tailored treatment planning
- Work collaboratively to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient clinical practice
- Share knowledge and support team development
- Contribute ideas that shape the future direction of the clinic

Work Pattern & Flexibility
- Four-day working week
- No out-of-hours duties
- Fair weekend rotation (shared Saturday or full weekend cover)
