  • Public understanding of cancer risks
  • Measuring patient experiences within healthcare services

  • Support the development of research protocols and study methodologies.

Public and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate co-design workshops with patients, public advisory groups, and healthcare practitioners.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure research reflects diverse population perspectives.

Participant Recruitment

  • Develop inclusive recruitment strategies using digital platforms, community networks, and mobile research units.

Data Analysis and Publication

  • Analyse quantitative and cohort data using advanced statistical and longitudinal modelling techniques.
  • Prepare manuscripts and research outputs for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Dissemination and Impact

Coordinate outreach and knowledge-sharing activities to ensure research findings reach healthcare providers, policymakers, and communities.

  • Contract and Appointment Details
  • The contract is open-ended but funded initially until 31 December 2027.
  • Appointment at Grade 7 requires completion of a PhD.

Candidates who have submitted but not yet completed their PhD may be appointed at Grade 6B (£39,148 – £41,833) until the thesis is successfully submitted, after which salary will be adjusted to Grade 7 with backdated pay.
