An Average Day in the Life of a Hotel Restaurant Manager

Your duties entail…

• This is a typical day for someone who reports to the General Manager.
• Make sure that our breakfast and supper establishments, the Washington and the Connaught, are working well.
• Keep the bar high for guest service by supervising the team to provide prompt, courteous, and expert assistance.
• Job search.
• Training & development of the team.
• Keeping the crew in line with all applicable health and safety, fire and licensing requirements.
• It is important to consistently assess the team’s conduct, presentation, and output.
• Being a part of the hotel’s management team means providing support to other areas, such as duty management shifts.
