About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join a specialist service in Stoke-on-Trent, providing neurological rehabilitation and complex care.
You will work with individuals who have acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, or cognitive impairments, delivering evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention within a multidisciplinary team.

This is an ideal role for a compassionate and motivated professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for people with neurological and cognitive challenges. The position also offers ongoing professional development and access to specialist training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic, cognitive, and risk assessments to inform treatment and rehabilitation plans.
  • Deliver individual and group psychological interventions using evidence-based models.
  • Provide training, supervision, and consultation to staff to support psychologically informed care.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning and clinical decision-making.
  • Participate in service development and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in practice.

Requirements

  • Recognised undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Psychology.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Chartered Psychologist status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Experience delivering evidence-based interventions for individuals with neurological, cognitive, or complex mental health needs.
  • Excellent assessment, formulation, and communication skills.
  • Must be based in the UK (visa sponsorship available for suitably experienced candidates).
