Opportunity Overview
Join a Level III Trauma Center setting where you’ll deliver critical care and outpatient pulmonary services as part of a dynamic team. This role supports a high-volume practice with robust programs in lung volume reduction, interventional pulmonology (including robotic bronchoscopy), and opportunities to build growth areas such as pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, asthma and sleep medicine. Teaching opportunities are available through Guthrie’s Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine Fellowship program.
Key Highlights & Clinical Focus
- Combine inpatient critical care (ICU) and outpatient pulmonary medicine.
- Engage with active lung volume reduction and interventional pulmonary programs (including robotic bronchoscopy).
- Teaching engagement: participate in the fellowship program for Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine.
- Opportunity to develop and expand subspecialty growth areas: pulmonary hypertension, asthma, interstitial lung disease (ILD) and sleep medicine.
- Comfortable shared call schedule.
- Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system integrated across the organisation.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care Medicine.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care: improving health “every patient, every time.”
- Demonstrated ability in both critical care and outpatient pulmonary settings.
- Willingness to engage in teaching (residents/fellows), program development and practice growth.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $361,000 – $448,000.
- 6 weeks paid time off (PTO) plus paid holidays and sick leave.

- Licensed fee coverage: primary licensure, DEA fees, renewals included.

- CME support: time and expense allowances. Clinical academic appointments available via the affiliated medical school.
