Role Overview
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality technical assistance and support to Bloomberg clients, including CEOs, fund managers, and executives. Your role will focus on two main areas:
Client Support & Workflow Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Bloomberg terminals and proprietary hardware (keyboards, biometrics).
- Resolve client issues related to software, hardware, and workflow efficiently via phone and Bloomberg Instant Messaging.
- Ensure account security and protect sensitive financial data.
Client Engagement & Training
- Guide clients on product setup, platform navigation, and functionality.
- Deliver training and onboarding sessions to ensure clients maximize Bloomberg’s capabilities.
- Support a globally distributed team serving clients in over 18 languages.
Training & Career Development
New hires participate in an 8-week immersive training program, covering:
- Bloomberg products and services
- Financial markets overview
- Troubleshooting and hardware/software setup
- Client workflow support

Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in French and English (verbal and written)
- Strong customer service skills for live support environments
- Interest in finance and technology
- Ability to learn and retain new technical skills
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and independent work capability
Desirable:
- Experience in client-facing roles
- Familiarity with data privacy, cybersecurity, and information management
- Understanding of software/hardware troubleshooting
- Curiosity to research and resolve technical issues effectively
Visa & New Entrant Sponsorship
Bloomberg provides UK Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship under New Entrant criteria. Candidates may qualify if they:
- Are under 26 at application date
- Are completing a UK-recognised professional qualification
- Are working towards full registration or chartered status with a relevant professional body
- Recently held Student route permission (within 2 years)
- Recently held Graduate route permission (within 2 years)
- Work Schedule & Additional Info
- Full-time start in January or April 2026
- Occasional weekends or bank holidays may be required (with weekday off in lieu)
