About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join a specialist service in Stoke-on-Trent, providing neurological rehabilitation and complex care.
The role involves supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries and cognitive impairments through evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic, cognitive, and risk assessments to support treatment planning and rehabilitation goals.
  • Deliver individual and group psychological interventions using evidence-based approaches.
  • Provide staff training, consultation, and clinical supervision to promote psychological understanding within the team.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to individualized care and rehabilitation plans.
  • Support service development and innovation, ensuring high clinical and ethical standards are maintained.

Requirements

  • Recognized qualifications in Psychology (undergraduate and postgraduate).
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Chartered Psychologist status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions to individuals with neurological or cognitive conditions.
  • Strong skills in assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK — visa sponsorship is available for experienced candidates currently based in the UK.
