About UCL School of Management

The UCL School of Management is a global leader in business and management education and research, focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, business analytics, and technology management.
We ranked 2nd in the UK for Business and Management in the 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF) and hold both AACSB and AMBA accreditations.

With over 2,000 students and a highly international faculty and student body, we work closely with other UCL departments, including Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Psychology, and Public Policy.

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Professor (Teaching) to lead and enhance the delivery of our flagship MSc Management programme — one of the largest and most successful at UCL, attracting around 500 students each year.

This is a senior education-focused post, ideal for an experienced academic who can shape curriculum strategy and teaching innovation in management education. The successful candidate will:

  • Take a leadership role in programme delivery and design.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and strategic direction.
  • Help prepare graduates for careers shaped by AI, digital transformation, and the future of work.
  • Please note that this position is on UCL’s Education/Teaching track and not a research-track appointment.

About You

You will hold a PhD (or equivalent doctorate) in Business, Management, or a related discipline and have:

  • Extensive experience teaching business and management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • A strong record of teaching excellence and student engagement.
  • Experience leading academic programmes, modules, or teams.
  • A track record of curriculum innovation, quality enhancement, and industry collaboration.
  • The ability to connect theory with real-world business practice and support students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
