The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Professor (Teaching) in Technology Innovation to join our dynamic academic team. This is a teaching-focused role on the Education Track, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of UCL’s programmes in technology and innovation.

As Associate Professor (Teaching), you will:

  • Design and deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate modules related to technology, innovation, and management.
  • Lead and develop initiatives that enhance the Technology and Innovation degree programme.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to create real-world learning experiences for students.
  • Provide academic leadership in curriculum development, educational innovation, and student engagement.
  • Contribute to the School’s strategic goals in teaching excellence, employability, and innovation-led learning.
  • This position focuses on education delivery and leadership, not research.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PhD (or equivalent doctorate) in Business, Management, Technology Innovation, or a closely related discipline.
  • Extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in business and management subjects.
  • A strong record of teaching excellence, demonstrated through positive evaluations and innovation in curriculum design.
  • Experience in programme leadership or managing teaching teams and projects.
  • A passion for connecting theory with real-world practice and for inspiring students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage with academic and industry partners.

This position meets the eligibility criteria for both the Skilled Worker Visa and the Global Talent Visa under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
