The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Associate Professor (Teaching) in Technology Innovation to join our dynamic academic team. This is a teaching-focused role on the Education Track, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of UCL’s programmes in technology and innovation.
As Associate Professor (Teaching), you will:
- Design and deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate modules related to technology, innovation, and management.
- Lead and develop initiatives that enhance the Technology and Innovation degree programme.
- Collaborate with industry partners to create real-world learning experiences for students.
- Provide academic leadership in curriculum development, educational innovation, and student engagement.
- Contribute to the School’s strategic goals in teaching excellence, employability, and innovation-led learning.
- This position focuses on education delivery and leadership, not research.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A PhD (or equivalent doctorate) in Business, Management, Technology Innovation, or a closely related discipline.
- Extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in business and management subjects.
- A strong record of teaching excellence, demonstrated through positive evaluations and innovation in curriculum design.
- Experience in programme leadership or managing teaching teams and projects.
- A passion for connecting theory with real-world practice and for inspiring students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage with academic and industry partners.
