About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Finance Service Desk Officer to join our friendly and professional Finance team. You will provide first-line support for staff and students, ensuring enquiries are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a high-quality, reliable service via email, telephone, and Teams to support staff and students in managing financial processes.

Liaise with operational Finance teams to ensure queries and requests are addressed promptly and effectively.

Collaborate with other University services (e.g., HR, Division for the Student Experience) to understand enquiry context and direct users appropriately.

Provide training and induction sessions to colleagues across the University as required.

About You

You will have:

• Experience in customer support and strong communication skills.
• A problem-solving mindset with a dedication to excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, able to quickly build rapport and provide effective solutions to a wide range of stakeholders.

• Work must be undertaken in the UK.
• This role may be eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship (note: roles below £33,400 per annum are not eligible).
