Our standalone practice is truly unique — set in a beautifully converted fire station that provides a bright, spacious, and modern workspace. We’re equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical technology, giving you the tools to work up and manage cases locally.

Over time, we’ve built a loyal client base who trust us for our compassionate care and commitment to clinical excellence. With our growing practice and strong community reputation, there’s plenty of opportunity for development and progression.

Location

Located in Hemsworth, a welcoming market town with excellent transport links, our practice is just a short walk from the bus station with routes to Barnsley, Wakefield, Pontefract, and Doncaster. The M1 and A1 are nearby, connecting you easily to Leeds, Sheffield, and Manchester.

The area offers something for everyone — from exploring Nostell Priory and Hemsworth Water Park to enjoying countryside walks or lively nights out. It’s a great place to live and work.

The Role

We offer full flexibility to suit your lifestyle:

• Full-time (40 hours) or Part-time (from 24 hours)
• No out-of-hours work
• Shared weekend rota for balanced scheduling

We’re looking for a vet who

• Has small animal experience in general practice
• Is confident with sole charge when required
• Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is passionate about delivering gold-standard patient care
• Whatever your professional goals, we’ll support you — from certificate funding to leadership development or service expansion ideas.
