Position Overview
Mercy Health – Clermont Hospital is actively seeking board-certified or board-eligible physicians trained in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine to join its hospitalist team. Physicians will provide comprehensive inpatient care, respond to hospital codes, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage hospitalist patient caseload, with ~11 daily encounters
- Respond to rapid response calls and hospital codes
- Provide care in the open, 15-bed ICU
- Conduct procedures as applicable (experience preferred)
- Work closely with Emergency Department, specialty services, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR

Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible to work in the U.S. (H-1B visa support provided)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
Desirable Skills:
- Previous hospitalist or ICU experience
- Proficiency in inpatient procedures
- Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
