About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary Engineering Division at Optimised.

As part of our nationwide engineering team, you will carry out BMS maintenance, optimisation, fault-finding, and project delivery to ensure smooth, efficient, and sustainable building operations for our clients. You’ll work on Trend, Cylon, and Tridium systems across a diverse portfolio that includes well-known brands, where exceptional service and delivery are core to everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out site-based and remote BMS system maintenance and optimisation.
  • Diagnose and resolve BMS and controls-related faults, from software to HVAC plant level.
  • Deliver project works, including system integrations and energy optimisation initiatives.
  • Support installation and commissioning of BMS systems.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and third parties to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
  • Share knowledge and support the development of junior team members to enhance team capability.

About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience in BMS maintenance and optimisation.
  • Qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (HNC/ONC or equivalent).
  • Trend qualifications or equivalent experience (Tridium, Cylon, or Delta also desirable).
  • ECS/CSCS Gold Card holder.
  • Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
