Founding Engineer – Relocate to the UK(UK Visa Sponsorship)

About the Company & Product

We are building a cutting-edge security platform that helps organizations detect intrusions in their cloud infrastructure using “canaries”  decoy tripwires designed to catch attackers off guard. Our technology processes billions of events per week while delivering high reliability and low latency.

We’re backed by top investors (Accel, Tapestry), and have recently onboarded major clients such as Riot Games, Synthesia, Docker, Coveo, and Snyk. We’re scaling rapidly  doubling annual recurring revenue last quarter  and are gearing up for a major growth spurt.

The Role

As a core engineering team member, you will report directly to the CTO and work closely with fellow engineers and founders. You’ll be hands-on across the stack, contributing to backend services, infrastructure, and web frontend, helping build a product used by security teams at fast-moving companies.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain backend systems  mostly in C# on .NET Core 8, along with Terraform for infrastructure, and frontend components using HTMX.
• Implement and deploy cloud-based services with infrastructure-as-code, continuous delivery, and robust architecture.
• Collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and customers, incorporating feedback to deliver high-impact features.
• Work in a small, fast-paced environment delivering value quickly  minimal bureaucracy, high autonomy, and frequent releases.

Who We’re Looking For

• A software engineer with several years’ experience building scalable, production-grade systems.
• Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup  able to balance speed and quality.
• High standards for code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• A team player who enjoys working closely with founders and early colleagues to build a strong foundation.
• A proactive, results-oriented mindset  you care about shipping and impact.
• Willingness to relocate to London and work on-site 5 days/week.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: £60,000 – £120,000, depending on experience and fit
• Visa sponsorship: we support various UK visa types  Skilled Worker Visa, Intra-Company Transfer, Graduate Visa transition, etc.

Work Culture & Environment

• Office: Central London, near Warren Street Tube station  easy commuting, great local amenities.
• In-person collaboration: we value working together five days a week, but remain flexible when needed (e.g., occasional remote work for travel, family emergencies, etc.).
• Work schedule: typically 9:00 AM  6:00 PM. As a founding engineer, there may be times of extra effort  but we value respect, balance, and team trust.
• Ownership & autonomy: you will work directly with founders and make meaningful decisions; your work will directly shape the product and company trajectory.
