Veterinary Surgeon (Part-Time – 20 Hours)

A Collaborative Team
You’ll be joining a friendly, established team consisting of:
- 4 receptionists
- 2 full-time nurses
- 4 part-time nurses
- An experienced all-round Veterinary Surgeon providing surgical support
- We pride ourselves on teamwork, open communication, and shared clinical standards.
The Role
As part of our clinical team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality consultations and surgical procedures
- Create tailored treatment plans in partnership with pet owners
- Maintain professional and regulatory compliance
- Contribute positively to team development and shared learning
- We’re particularly interested in candidates with orthopaedic experience or familiarity with TPLO procedures, though this is not essential.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
- Has a minimum of two years’ UK small-animal experience
- Demonstrates confident communication with clients and colleagues
- Is committed to maintaining the highest welfare standards
- Thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment
Your work will align with UK veterinary and animal welfare standards, including:
- Animal Welfare Act 2006
- Veterinary Medicines Regulations (safe prescribing and medicines governance)
- RCVS Practice Standards Scheme
