About the Role

Medivet Faygate 24-Hour offers a unique opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with a surgical interest or orthopaedic focus, to join a dedicated, experienced, and supportive team. Our practice is set in acres of woodland and scenic countryside, within reach of the South Downs National Park and the Jurassic Coast, providing a serene environment for both staff and patients.
Our hospital is fully equipped with:
- Digital and dental radiography
- CT imaging
- Endoscopy and bronchoscopy
- Multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring
- Laboratory facilities
- Two modern surgical theatres
The facility also includes separate cat and dog wards, a dedicated cat waiting area, and an isolation suite. This role is ideal for someone with at least 3 years of UK experience looking to work with complex cases and take part in high-quality, client-focused care.
Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Surgeon at Medivet Faygate, you will:
- Deliver clinical care and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients in collaboration with clients
- Work closely with colleagues in a multidisciplinary, supportive environment
- Mentor and share expertise to support the development of Medivet Clinical Communities
- Participate in audit, quality improvement, and continuous professional development initiatives NHS Clinical Governance
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified MRCVS Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
- Has a passion for clinical excellence, surgery, and client care
- Works effectively in a team-focused environment
- Is committed to continuous learning and professional growth
