Shape Your Clinical Path

This is not a standard veterinary role. At Medivet Canonbury, you’ll have the opportunity to build a clinical niche in areas such as internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, or cardiology. The practice is designed for vets who enjoy digging deeper into cases, developing diagnostic plans, and following patients through their full treatment journey.

 Your Day-to-Day Impact

You’ll play a key role in managing both routine and more advanced medical cases, with responsibilities including:

  • Handling a diverse caseload with increasing clinical complexity
    Carrying out detailed diagnostic workups and investigations
    Developing structured treatment plans tailored to individual patients
    Building lasting relationships with clients through continuity of care
    Supporting the growth of in-house services and clinical standards
    Collaborating with colleagues across the wider Medivet network

This role gives you the time and support to practise medicine thoughtfully rather than rushing through cases.

 Who This Role Suits

We’re looking for a vet who is:

  • MRCVS qualified
    Passionate about internal medicine, imaging, or cardiology
    Working towards (or interested in) a postgraduate certificate, or has equivalent experience
    Confident in managing medical cases and solving complex clinical problems
    A strong communicator who values teamwork and high standards
    Eager to grow within a forward-thinking and evolving practice

 About the Practice

Medivet Canonbury is a well-established clinic in North London with a loyal client base and a steadily growing caseload. The practice supports more advanced case work, allowing vets to expand their clinical capabilities.

 Location Benefits:

 Working Pattern

  • 4 days per week
    Regular day off (Friday)
    1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 full weekends (flexible depending on rota preferences)
