Skills Provision Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established building services and engineering consultancy based in London. The organisation delivers specialist support to construction and infrastructure projects across several sectors and has developed a reputation for technical excellence, efficiency, and sustainable solutions.
The company is now looking for a skilled MEP Planner to join its head office team. This role plays a critical part in coordinating the planning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualified international applicants may also be considered, with Skilled Worker visa sponsorship available where required.
Salary
Successful candidates can expect a salary within the range of:
- £45,500 – £55,500 per annum, depending on qualifications and professional experience.

Key Responsibilities
As an MEP Planner, your primary duties will include:
- Developing detailed programmes covering design, procurement, and construction phases
- Preparing and presenting progress updates to senior management
- Conducting site visits to assess project development
- Producing structured planning documentation for clients
- Collaborating closely with on-site construction teams and project managers
- Attending coordination meetings and internal training sessions
- Monitoring project schedules and identifying any potential delays
- Carrying out delay analysis and preparing reports for Extension of Time (EOT) claims when required
- Maintaining accurate records and project documentation
- Keeping up to date with relevant construction legislation and regulations
- Acting in accordance with company policies and professional standards
- Supporting other project planning tasks when required
- Guidance on construction health and safety regulations can be reviewedÂ
Candidate Requirements
Education
Applicants should hold one of the following:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong experience in construction project planning, particularly during tender and contract stages
- Sound knowledge of MEP systems and coordination processes
- Practical understanding of construction delivery from feasibility through to completion
- Ability to solve complex issues that arise during project execution
- Strong IT proficiency, including experience with Asta PowerProject or Microsoft Project
- Highly organised and methodical working style
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting information clearly to project stakeholders
- The ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Requirements for Overseas Applicants
