What does being a Care Assistant involve?
- Providing personal care, such as assisting with showering/bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Offering practical support, including laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, and accompanying clients to appointments or social events
- Specialized care for individuals with specific needs
- Assisting clients with daily tasks
- Supporting individuals with various medical conditions, such as dementia, autism, and challenging behavior
- Managing household duties, including cooking, cleaning, and overall home maintenance
