B1 Licensed Engineer
JMC Aviation is working with an MRO company based in Gatwick, looking to recruit a B1 Licensed Engineer to join their team.
This client is an international provider of both line and base maintenance services, offering comprehensive support to commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they tailor their services to meet rapidly changing needs, including component repairs, overhauls, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft interiors, AOG support, and more.

Role Overview:
The primary responsibility is to perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of aircraft types.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine inspections, troubleshooting, and rectifications
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Complete detailed technical reports and maintenance records
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Manage parts and materials to ensure timely availability for maintenance tasks
- Contribute to the development and improvement of maintenance procedures
- Follow company procedures, best practices, and safety protocols
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- UK CAA Part 66 B1 License
- Type ratings on the A320 family, particularly A321 (PW1100G)
- Significant experience as a B1 Engineer with a focus on A320 series aircraft
- Evidence of 6 months of recency on type within the last 24 months
- Experience with aircraft systems, including avionics, engines, structures, and components
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call as required
- Full UK driving license
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship may be available)
