We’ve got a rare opening in Asset Management for a Senior Building Surveyor who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make a real difference. You’ll be the mastermind behind our Forward Planned Maintenance programme—keeping our properties safe, sharp, and sustainable, all while boosting their value for the long haul.

Hybrid Vibes: You’ll split your time 50/50 between office/site and home over a month—flexible, but we’ll adjust based on what the business needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Wander through our properties, running Condition Surveys and gathering asset intel to shape our maintenance plans—now and down the road.

  • Keep our CAFM system humming with spot-on data about our buildings.

  • Dream up and manage Forward Planned Maintenance programmes—bundling works, setting budgets, and squeezing out efficiencies.

  • Scope, procure, and steer projects that vibe with our Net Zero and ESG goals.

  • Tackle tricky repairs with clever fixes, scoping them out with suppliers for top value and quality.

  • Set the pace—track service levels, run audits, and tweak things to keep us on point, with solid procedures to back it up.

  • Lead your crew with warmth, setting goals and cheering them on toward our shared wins.

  • Jump in when emergencies hit—calm, collected, and ready.

  • Weave sustainability and energy-saving magic into everything we do.

Who You Are

Know-How:

  • A degree + RICS or CIOB membership.
  • NEBOSH Safety Management in your toolkit.

  • Clued up on legal, financial, and procurement nitty-gritty.

  • A pro at building regs, CDM, and compliance.

Skills:

  • A go-getter who juggles tasks, hits deadlines, and keeps everyone happy.
  • Creative and practical—solving problems with a spark.

  • A natural at chatting, connecting, and building trust.

  • Budget-savvy and a leader who inspires the team.

  • Clear, sharp writer—scopes and docs are your jam.

Experience:

  • Deep roots in building maintenance and facilities management—trends and all.
  • Ran projects that nailed commercial and client goals.

  • Briefed consultants and kept them on track.

  • Managed multi-site estates (commercial and residential) with service charge know-how.

  • Led teams with a customer-first heart.

  • Handy with property software and tools.
