Job Description
Note: Applicants must be drivers with access to their own car.
We’re a proud Tier 2 visa sponsor, excited to welcome skilled individuals already in the UK to our team. If you hold a UK work visa, dependent visa, or student visa and are seeking a new sponsor, we’d love to hear from you—provided you meet the criteria below.
As a direct employer (not an agency), we partner with an agent to smooth out our hiring process. While we cover all sponsorship fees, including the immigration skills charge, you’ll need to handle costs tied to your personal UK visa application.
Our mission? Delivering outstanding care that helps clients stay independent at home for as long as possible. As a Care Assistant, you’ll assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, medication reminders), tackle household tasks, and offer meaningful companionship—all while traveling to clients across the local community.
Driving is a must: You’ll need prior UK care experience, a full UK driving license, and your own vehicle for work and personal use.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver with your own car and business insurance.
- Comfort using our care system to log calls and details.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
- Commitment to ongoing training.
- Patience, calm, and empathy for clients’ needs.
- Willingness to work alternate weekends.
Proof of UK work eligibility, Enhanced DBS checks, and solid references.
Visa Requirements
- Level 2 healthcare diploma (or equivalent) or 1+ year as a senior carer/care assistant.
- Current UK driving license (some foreign licenses may qualify—ask us!).
- Up-to-date CV with no gaps in education or employment.
- Excellent English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing).
What We Offer
- Hours & Pay: 37.5 hours/week (averaging 150 hours/month), with a guaranteed annual salary of £23,205, paid monthly. Extra hours available at £12/hour.
- Benefits: Paid holidays, 30p/mile mileage reimbursement, and a company pension.
- Training: Full initial and ongoing training provided.
- Sponsorship: Up to 5 years, with a path to long-term UK residency.
- Support: We’ll guide you through the visa process.
