Job Description

CNC Sliding Head Operator
Location: Bradford
Hourly Rate: £16 – £17
Visa Sponsorship Available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled CNC Sliding Head Machinist to join a growing company with excellent long-term career prospects. If you have experience programming and operating Citizen Sliding Head Machines with Fanuc controls and have a background in precision engineering, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC Sliding Head Machines, including Citizen models.
  • Produce high-quality components for special purpose machinery.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Perform mechanical fitting tasks as required.
  • Conduct quality checks on your own work.
  • Carry out basic machine maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience using CNC Sliding Head machines (Citizen preferred, but other machines will be considered).
  • Familiarity with FANUC control systems for programming.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
