Domiciliary Care Assistant (Visa Sponsorship Available) – Must Drive

Position: Domiciliary Care Worker (Male/Female)
Location: Worthing, West Sussex, UK
Employment Type: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £12.50 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated care workers to join our client’s team in the Worthing area, West Sussex. In this role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. A valid driving licence is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Support toileting needs and continence management.

Administer prescribed medications and monitor clients’ health conditions.

Report any changes in clients’ health to a supervisor or healthcare professional.

Aid with mobility and transfers using the appropriate equipment.

Accompany clients to appointments or social activities.

Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.

Provide companionship and engage in conversation to reduce loneliness.

Support clients’ mental and emotional wellbeing through active listening and encouragement.

Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients’ conditions.

Complete daily logs and report to supervisors as required.

Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.

Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in care.

Requirements:

Valid driving licence is essential.

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
