Job Title: Social Worker – Assessment and Intervention Team
Location: Ealing, London

Ealing Children’s Social Care is looking for passionate professionals to join our Assessment and Intervention Team, working to safeguard and support children and young people across our borough.

About the Role

As a social worker in our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in promoting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. You’ll work within a strong practice framework driven by our Brighter Futures Practice Model, which prioritises relationship-based practice and strengths-focused engagement.

You will:

• Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and intervene where necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
• Build meaningful connections between families and their communities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and local organisations to deliver holistic support.
• Innovate and trial new approaches to improve outcomes for children and families.
• Manage resources efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who:

• Hold a professional social work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, Degree in Social Work or equivalent)
• Are registered with Social Work England
• Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Are motivated, innovative, and value collaboration
• Believe in empowering families and building stronger communities
