Finance Analyst (Business Partnering Support)
Join a dynamic and experienced Financial Planning and Strategy team at the University of Reading. We’re looking for a motivated individual with a passion for business partnering and a keen interest in developing a career in financial analysis.
As part of the Finance Planning and Strategy team—led by the Deputy Director of Finance—you’ll work alongside Finance Business Partners, Analysts, and Accounts Assistants. Your main responsibility will be to provide accurate and insightful financial analysis and management information to support FBPs and stakeholders across the University.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Clear and confident communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, ACA)
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting within a large organisation
