The University of Liverpool is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Trials Manager to join the Liverpool Clinical Trials Centre (LCTC). This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of a diverse clinical trials portfolio, contributing to high-quality research that makes a real-world impact.
About the Role
As Senior Trials Manager, you will:
- Provide leadership in the development and management of clinical trials
- Oversee trial design, monitoring, and quality assurance processes
- Ensure all activities are fully compliant with relevant governance and regulatory frameworks
- Collaborate closely with LCTC workstreams including trial management, statistics, data management, and information systems
- Support the continuous improvement of standards, procedures, and portfolio growth
This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work across teams to ensure excellence in delivery and trial compliance.
About You
You will bring:
- A degree or equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in managing project budgets within a clinical trials environment
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial governance, regulations, and quality standards
- Experience developing and monitoring trial-related procedures and documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A high level of self-organisation and ability to manage others effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail

Contract Details
- This post is available on a 12-month fixed-term basis in the first instance.
