About the Role: People Development Advisor

We are seeking a People Development Advisor to play a key role in shaping learning and development across the University. You will support a broad range of development initiatives, including:

  • Leadership and management training
  • Personal and professional skills development
  • Coaching and mentoring programmes
  • Researcher development

Working closely with teams and individuals, you’ll design and deliver high-quality learning experiences that make a measurable difference.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable development professional with:

  • Strong facilitation skills, with experience delivering training to senior management.
  • A creative and inclusive approach to designing blended learning solutions that support staff performance and growth.
  • The ability to build productive relationships across all levels to understand and respond to development needs.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a clear focus on outcomes and impact.
  • Expertise in evaluating learning effectiveness and embedding it into the workplace.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring up to middle management level.
  • A track record of delivering customer-focused development solutions, tailored to feedback and evolving organisational needs.
