The Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) service is all about helping people regain control of their lives after illness or injury. Whether it’s making a cup of tea, adjusting to a new routine, or simply building the confidence to live independently again, we support people to achieve what matters most to them.
We’re looking for compassionate, proactive individuals to join our team and support adults in their recovery journey at home.
What You’ll Do
As a JCR Support Worker, you’ll work directly with people in the community to:
Provide personal care and emotional support
Assist with daily activities and therapy exercises
Encourage independence and confidence
Work closely with therapists and healthcare professionals
This role involves travelling across the local area, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Your Contract Options
We offer flexible, permanent contracts from 6 to 30 hours per week, including:
Weekend-only contracts (6–24 hours)
Evening-only contracts (6–24 hours)
Apprenticeships (6–30 hours), with vocational training from entry to degree level
Shifts take place between 7am and 10pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check (or Enhanced with Regulated Activity)
If you’ve lived/worked overseas, an overseas police check may be needed
Pro rata salary applies to part-time contracts
