We are currently seeking a Band 5 Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive Emergency Department team. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality care to patients in urgent and emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to manage patient flow and support the efficient operation of the department.

Responsibilities:
As a Band 5 Nurse in the Emergency Department, you’ll be instrumental in delivering patient-focused care in urgent and emergency situations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being.
Assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care for patients with diverse conditions.
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to manage patient flow and ensure efficient care delivery.
Administering prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring their effects, and documenting as required.
Offering support, information, and emotional reassurance to patients and their families during critical situations.
Working closely with senior nurses and doctors to manage clinical situations and participate in decision-making.
Contributing to handovers, ensuring smooth and accurate communication for continued care.
Upholding high clinical standards and adhering to safety protocols and hospital policies.
Assisting with the training and development of junior staff and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Continuing to develop your clinical skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
