Are you a skilled Mobile Phone Repair Engineer with a passion for fixing devices? Pocket Geek Tech Repair is looking for a talented technician to join our team in Dundee!
Job Details:
- Position: Mobile Phone Repair Technician
- Location: Dundee
- Salary: £36,000 per year (£13.00 per hour, based on experience)
- Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Work Permit & Sponsorship: Available for highly experienced candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a variety of devices, including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and gaming consoles
- Perform micro-soldering and component-level repairs, addressing issues like backlight, power, sound, and charging problems
- Handle liquid damage diagnosis and repairs for smartphones and tablets
- Install, test, and maintain hardware and software for Mac and Windows laptops
- Maintain detailed repair records and ensure all service activities are documented accurately
- Adhere to industry standards, safety guidelines, and quality control procedures to ensure high-quality repairs
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile phone and electronics repair
- Strong micro-soldering and soldering skills are essential
- A Diploma/Degree in Electronics or a similar qualification is preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills required
- A valid driver’s license is preferred, but not essential
