About You

As a Charge Nurse at HC-One, you’ll oversee the care of residents in your area of the care home. You’ll also manage the entire home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager. From following up on resident health visits and administering prescribed medications to keeping records in compliance with legal requirements, your focus will always be on the wellbeing of our residents.

You will:

• Be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
• Have a commitment to maintaining the high standards of practice outlined by the NMC
• Be passionate about mentoring and sharing your knowledge with colleagues, supporting students as a practice supervisor and assessor
• Understand the importance of effective communication, both written and verbal, and role model professional behaviour
• Deliver a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families
• Be proactive in safeguarding and recognising signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, knowing how to address any concerns
• Attend safeguarding and additional training as required for the role

Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available to applicants who meet the criteria of 2 years of experience and currently reside in the UK. Please note that we cannot accept applications from outside the UK at this time.
