ACS International Schools are seeking a passionate and experienced PSHE Teacher to join our Egham campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering a dynamic Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education programme. As a PSHE Teacher, you will collaborate with staff to promote students’ wellbeing, emotional resilience, and social responsibility. Key Responsibilities

Inspiring Excellence in PSHE

Lead and support staff in delivering engaging and meaningful PSHE lessons.

Model best practices in PSHE teaching and learning.

Advocate for the importance of PSHE in students’ personal development and wellbeing.

Curriculum Development

Design and maintain a comprehensive PSHE curriculum, responding to student needs and emerging trends.

Align the PSHE content with IB Programme Standards, school priorities, and UK national guidance.

Address key issues such as mental health, diversity, sustainability, and digital citizenship.

Professional Learning & Collaboration

Mentor staff to improve PSHE delivery.

Identify and promote relevant professional development opportunities.

Collaborate with grade-level leaders, counsellors, students, and external organisations to strengthen the PSHE programme.

Student Wellbeing & Support

Work closely with student support services to ensure the curriculum meets the diverse needs of all learners.

Monitor and assess the impact of PSHE on student wellbeing and engagement.

Support initiatives that build emotional resilience, self-awareness, and social responsibility.

Leadership & Administration

Oversee and coordinate PSHE delivery across all grade levels.

Organise resources, guest speakers, and events to enhance the PSHE programme.

Continuously review and improve the effectiveness of the PSHE curriculum.

Who We’re Looking For

A passionate educator with experience in PSHE or a related field.

Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

A commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.

IB experience is desirable but not essential.

A positive, approachable personality, with the ability to balance support and challenge to help students thrive.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or Bachelor of Education.

A valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/PGDE/QTS/valid Teaching License).

A minimum of two years’ post-qualification teaching experience.

Strong IT skills (e.g., Apple Teacher qualification).

Experience and/or willingness to integrate technology into teaching and learning.

Fluent in both verbal and written English.

Experience teaching in an international school is desirable.

A strong understanding of and commitment to the Mission, Aims, and Values of ACS International Schools.
