The Opportunity

We are delighted to present an opening for a Specialist Tandoori Chef De Partie at a premium Indian dining restaurant in East London.

• Location: East London
  
• Salary Package: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (Gross OTE)
  
• Hours: 38–48 hours per week, across 5–6 days

Role & Responsibilities

As a Specialist Tandoori Chef De Partie, you will:

• Prepare authentic South Asian Tandoori meats, breads, and signature dishes.
• Maintain high culinary standards consistent with the restaurant’s regional theme.
• Oversee kitchen operations relevant to your role.
• Train and supervise Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, you must meet the following minimum criteria:

• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Proven experience in preparing authentic Tandoori dishes and specialties.
• Strong technical knowledge of ingredients, quality, sourcing, and formulations.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role plus at least 3 years in progressive kitchen positions.
• Valid Health & Safety certification and knowledge of HACCP protocols.
• Ability to commute within 1 hour of the restaurant.
