We Are Now Hiring: Specialist Chef De Partie – Grill/Tandoori

Location: Dumfries, Scotland
Employer: Fine Dining Restaurant
Salary: £29,000 – £32,000 gross OTE
Hours: 48 hours per week / 5 days
Benefits: 28 days paid holiday, pension, incentives, employee wellbeing initiatives

Your Role:

As a Specialist Chef De Partie, you will:

• Prepare high-quality, authentic grill and/or tandoori dishes aligned with the restaurant’s regional culinary theme
• Oversee kitchen operations relevant to your station
• Train and supervise junior staff, including Commis Chefs
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and ingredient quality

Minimum Requirements:

• Legal right to live and work in the UK (or willingness to apply for Skilled Worker Visa)
• At least 3 years of experience in this role and a total of 5+ years in kitchen positions
• Expertise in grill and/or tandoori cuisine preparation
• Strong technical understanding of ingredients, measurement, and menu development
• Health & safety certifications and HACCP knowledge
• Able to commute within one hour of the restaurant location (if in the UK)
