The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic academic to join our Computer Science team within the School of Science, Technology & Health. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of our innovative programmes, particularly in the fields of:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Cyber Security
  • Cloud Computing
  • Internet of Things (IoT)

As part of a dynamic and supportive academic team, you will help shape the student experience, lead cutting-edge research, and contribute to the continued development of our growing portfolio of digital and technology courses.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants with the following qualifications and experience:

  • A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, with specialism in AI, cyber security, cloud computing, or IoT.
  • A strong track record of academic research, demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and evidence of securing external research funding.
  • Experience in designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, ideally within a UK Higher Education setting.
  • A passion for supporting student development and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

This position offers a visa sponsorship opportunity under the Skilled Worker visa route, subject to meeting the eligibility requirements set out by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
