We specialize in UK domestic tourism and Ctrip’s expansive pan-European hop-on hop-off coach network, connecting 27 countries including the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Together with Ctrip, we are reimagining independent travel across Europe.

Role Summary

We’re looking for a creative, analytical, and bilingual Social Media Manager to take charge of our digital presence across both Chinese and international platforms. This role will drive engagement, grow online communities, and boost tour bookings through innovative content and targeted campaigns for audiences across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging content strategies across platforms including WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED), Douyin, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Create, schedule, and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with marketing objectives and product launches.
  • Grow and manage online communities within both Chinese-speaking and international audiences.
  • Partner with internal teams and designers to produce compelling multimedia content that promotes our tours and services.
  • Stay ahead of social trends, competitor activity, and platform updates to inform strategy.
  • Launch and optimize paid social media campaigns, maximizing ROI and targeting precision.
  • Respond to comments, inquiries, and messages in a timely, professional manner to foster community trust.
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics including engagement, reach, traffic, and conversions.

Candidate Requirements

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing social media or digital content, ideally within the travel or tourism sector.
  • Deep understanding of both Chinese digital ecosystems (WeChat, RED, Douyin) and Western platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Proven ability to grow audiences, increase engagement, and support marketing funnel goals.
  • Bilingual: fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken).
  • Skilled in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO, paid social ads, and influencer marketing is highly desirable.
  • Strong digital storytelling and writing skills tailored to different audience segments.
  • Legal right to work in the UK or eligible for UK work visa sponsorship.
