The Leadership and Management Department is a dynamic, interdisciplinary community focused on promoting responsible leadership, ethical business practices, and inclusive, healthy workplaces. Our research is internationally recognised and deeply embedded in real-world impact—particularly in healthcare, wellbeing, and human resource management.

We are now inviting applications for a Lecturer in Leadership and/or People Management. We particularly welcome candidates whose research includes leadership, HRM, or people management in healthcare settings.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold (or be close to completing) a PhD in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrate a developing or established track record of high-quality research.
  • Have a clear, creative, and long-term research vision aligned with the department’s values of inclusivity, ethics, and impact.
  • Be enthusiastic about cross-disciplinary collaboration and engagement with public and/or private sector stakeholders.
  • Show a strong commitment to teaching excellence, including the use of evidence-based methods and innovative digital pedagogies.
  • Be ready to supervise PhD and DBA students and contribute actively to the department’s vibrant research culture.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, collegiality, and academic integrity.
