The University of Liverpool invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Charity and Primary Care, based within the Department of Small Animal Clinical Science. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified veterinary professional to contribute to both teaching and clinical practice in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching to undergraduate veterinary students during their clinical rotations. These rotations take place at two PDSA hospitals – the Jeanne Marchig Centre (Kirkdale) and the Thomas William Centre (Huyton).

When student rotations are not in session, you will be based at the University Veterinary Practice (UVP), working as part of the primary care team to support clinical services.

This is a clinically focused academic role ideal for a veterinary surgeon with a passion for education and community-focused care.

What We’re Looking For

  • A recognised veterinary degree
  • Membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS)
  • A commitment to delivering excellent clinical teaching
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively across different practice settings
