Hours

Part time Hours range from 5 to 12.5 per week. Total of 27.5 hours divided among four posts. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered (depending on company requirements). Sports Centre: 4.30-9.30pm (Monday-Friday) Saturday 10.30-4.30 and 11.30-4.30 Sunday Falmer Sports Complex – 5.30-10.30pm (Monday through Friday), 12.30-6.30 Saturdays, and 9-6.30 Sundays.

Salary

Starting from £22,214 to £22,681 per year, per rata if part-time.

Sports assistants are needed to work at Sussexsport, University of Sussex. Hours are only available during the academic year; however, additional ad hoc hours may become available to replace staff holidays/sickness and support events that use the facilities.

Must be an energetic, outgoing individual with a strong work ethic; prior experience is not required. Successful applicants will be asked to assist with children’s parties and activities.

The hours for this position are not flexible.

Sports Centre: 4.30-9.30pm (Monday-Friday) and 11.30-4.30pm (Sundays)

Falmer Sports Complex – 5.30-10.30pm (Monday through Friday), 12.30-6.30 Saturdays, and 12.30-8.30 Sundays.

During the shift, you will be responsible for setting up and taking down equipment, keeping the gym clean and tidy, assisting with reception, stock takes, and cleaning.

The Estates and Facilities Division is thriving and dynamic.
