Contract Type: Fixed Term (2 years)
Hours: 0.40 FTE (part-time)
Salary: £57,422 – £66,537 (pro rata)

Role Overview

Warwick Medical School is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Professor to lead the delivery of postgraduate apprenticeship programmes in Advanced Clinical Practice and Advanced Critical Care Practice. This part-time role (2 days/week) will play a key part in curriculum development, programme oversight, teaching, and assessment within our Advanced Practice portfolio.

You will work closely with clinical and academic colleagues to ensure our MSc pathways align with professional standards and support workforce development across the UK’s health sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic leadership for ACP and ACCP apprenticeship programmes
  • Collaborate with course directors and leads to design and implement curricula
  • Contribute to teaching, assessment, and student supervision
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and professional body requirements

About You

We are looking for a qualified academic with a strong background in healthcare education. You’ll have experience in curriculum development and programme leadership, preferably within Advanced Clinical Practice. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, along with a passion for advancing clinical education.
