We are now seeking an Azure and Microsoft Office 365 Administrator to join our dynamic team within Information Services. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and enhancing the University’s Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environment, which forms the backbone of our digital infrastructure, supporting staff and students across the university.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Microsoft Azure and Office 365 platforms, ensuring the delivery of secure and resilient IT services.
- Provide expert technical support for Windows Server-based systems, contributing to a robust environment for both academic and business functions.
- Design and implement IT solutions that address the evolving needs of the university community, ensuring they meet security standards and support the diverse academic, research, and operational demands of the institution.
- Collaborate with senior Systems & Technologies team members to develop strategies and solutions that align with the university’s digital goals.
- Maintain high standards of service and reliability for university-wide IT systems and applications, supporting both staff and students.
About You:
- You will be a highly skilled and experienced IT professional, with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Windows Server systems. You will have a strong understanding of cloud services and be able to provide innovative and secure IT solutions for a large and diverse user base.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- In-depth knowledge and experience in managing Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments.
- Proven expertise in Windows Server-based systems and cloud computing.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver effective IT solutions to a wide range of academic, research, and business scenarios.
Post Details:
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Open-ended contract
