Warwick Business School (WBS) is looking for an experienced digital marketer with a strong understanding of trends, platforms, tools, and content strategy to lead its Digital Marketing team.

You will use your passion and experience to help us broaden and deepen our reach and interaction with target audiences throughout the world, including student recruitment and brand and reputation building, while ensuring that we remain audience-focused and sector-leading.

While your primary responsibilities will be digital, including social media, in-house film production, and site content, you will also be a member of the Communications & Marketing management team. You and your team will also collaborate with colleagues from our Program Marketing; Brand, Design, and Communications; and Press and Public Relations departments.

This function is critical to ensuring that we meet our ambitious short- and long-term goals, and it must be supported by significant audience understanding, technical knowledge, engaging content development, and monitoring and assessment.

You will be responsible for a large budget as well as the creation and management of various campaign budgets within it.

About You

To be considered for this post, you should be able to demonstrate considerable experience in:

  • Developing and implementing digital communication tactics that enhance reputation and positive attitude.
  • Managing and inspiring a high-performing team inside a huge, complicated organisation while promoting a digital-first strategy.
  • Planning and implementing effective multi-audience campaigns, including the setting of objectives, audience insight mapping and segmentation, channel and media selection, and the establishment of clear metrics and ways to evaluate activity
  • Content development that leads to greater engagement and/or audience growth across owned channels and external platforms.
  • Experience in crisis communication and proactive reaction management via social media.

You will also be able to think creatively and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Although assigned to a specific region, it is critical to operate in an integrated manner to identify and optimise chances to expand the WBS brand and drive engagement and conversions.
