Project Manager – Strategic Change & Business Transformation

We are seeking a Project Manager to drive institution-wide projects and support strategic change and business transformation at Harper Adams University. A key priority for this role is delivering our Harper Transform programme, ensuring business process transformation initiatives are effectively implemented and aligned with both the operational and cultural goals of the University.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage strategic projects, ensuring successful delivery and lasting impact.

Support the Harper Transform programme, managing key work packages and their outcomes.

Provide project management support for additional initiatives as required, reporting to the Strategy and Programme Manager.

Assist in strategic planning and the development of new initiatives.

Deliver training and development in project management to upskill staff.

Offer expert advice and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring projects align with the University’s vision.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with a formal project management qualification. Applicants should have:

Extensive project management experience with a track record of successful delivery.

Experience managing complex programmes and projects within large organisations.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence outcomes.

Proven ability to provide guidance on complex issues and drive solutions.

Experience delivering people-focused change management programmes (highly desirable).

Background in the Higher Education sector (highly desirable).

A proven ability to deliver results within set deadlines will be assessed through a presentation at the interview stage.
