Job Details

  • Position Location: 2055 McPhillips Street, Unit 209, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2P 1C7
  • Work Setup: Fully on-site – all tasks must be performed at our physical facility; remote work isn’t available.
  • Compensation: $30.30 per hour for a standard 40-hour workweek.
  • Employment Type: Permanent, full-time position.
  • Schedule: Flexible shifts including early mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, on-call duties, and more – perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Start Date: We need you to begin right away!
  • Open Positions: 6 spots available.

What We are Looking For

Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential.
Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma needed – we’re happy to provide training!
Experience: New to the field? No problem; we’ll train motivated candidates.

Key Duties

As part of our team, you’ll handle a variety of responsibilities to keep operations running smoothly:

  • Demonstrate strong skills in navigating mountainous terrain.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service with a professional attitude.
  • Team up with a partner or join convoys for efficient transport.
  • Safely load and unload shipments.
  • Monitor your vehicle’s overall state, checking elements like tires, lights, brakes, and refrigeration systems.
  • Make necessary brake tweaks as needed.
  • Keep detailed logs of cargo details, driving hours, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Secure loads with tarps and ensure everything is safe and protected during transit.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver’s License.
