JCR Support Worker – Help Clients Regain Independence
Location: East Sussex
Hours: Flexible contracts (6–30 hours per week)
Driving Licence Required
Shifts: Between 7 AM – 10 PM (including weekends & bank holidays)

After a hospital stay, Terry needed help getting back into the kitchen. At the Joint Community Rehabilitation (JCR) service, we support people like Terry in regaining independence—whether it’s making a cup of tea, staying active, or adjusting to a new routine.
About the Role
As a JCR Support Worker, you will:
✔ Assist older adults in their homes after illness or injury
✔ Provide personal care and emotional support
✔ Help with therapy exercises to rebuild confidence
✔ Work with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence
Who We’re Looking For
✔ Caring and empathetic individuals
✔ Flexible and adaptable to client needs
✔ Team players who can collaborate with professionals
✔ Drivers with access to a car (essential for travel requirements)
Contract Options
✅ Permanent: 6–30 hours per week
✅ Apprenticeships: 6–30 hours
✅ Weekend-only: 6–24 hours
✅ Evening-only: 6–24 hours
✅ Trial 36-hour contracts available (contact Cheryl Smith for details)
